Hi friends,

One of the many joys of The Busy Baker blog over the past 10 years has been sharing recipes that I've grown up with - recipes that have been made in my family through the generations. Today I'm sharing recipes that have been the cozy centre of my kitchen for years and that I know will fill your kitchen with the same nostalgic feeling!

We're starting with a recipe that has graced the table of our family holiday meals for as long as I can remember... these Easy Homemade Classic Buttermilk Buns! They use a simple dough that bakes to a tender roll that's perfectly buttery and soft. This recipe belonged to my grandma, the one who inspired this blog and who inspires me still, almost daily, in the kitchen.
